  1. You could imagine how that could sometimes cause problems. What if it is trying to follow a salt gradient from two opposite sources and it is in the middle. Genome #3 is saying, “go left” and genome #8529 says “go right” and so it spins helplessly and doesn’t go anywhere.

    And since it looks like you are taking art requests, I would like to see a painting of Epulopiscium next to a Borg cube, as a comparison of ways to exist as a community.
